Installation
- Run setup.exe and follow instructions.
- To uninstall, open Add or Remove Program from Control Panel and select
Hold'em Spy.

Quick Start
- Run Hold'em Spy.
- Run your supported poker software and connect to a poker room.
- Hold'em Spy will automatically connect to the table.
- Ready to use!
Main Area
- Advisor area
Will give you instant advice of what you should do. (Fold, Check, Call, Bet, Raise or Check-Raise)
A green "Check" is a check-raise. You will be advised to check and next round raise.
- Cards area
Both whole cards and board cards are scraped automatically.
- Hand strength meter
When the meter is on red, it means that you have a bad hand. Green means perfect hand.
- The scrolling text
- #Games - Total number of games you have scanned.
- Your Alias - Shows the poker alias, which Holdem Spy is connected to
- Chance to hit by river
Your chances of hitting a particular hand by river is calculated and shown here.
Stats Area
- Name
Shows the name of the current remaining players.
- WinQ (WinQuote)
Explained under Statistics Window.
- PF>>Flop, Flop>>Turn, Turn>>River and River>>Shdwn
The statistical probability that the player will go to next betting round.
- PF(Pre-Flop)-Raise, Flop-Raise, Turn-Raise, River-Raise
The statistical probability that the player will raise in this betting round.
- Style
Explained under Statistics Window.
- #Games
The number of games in which holdemspy has scanned the player.
Profit Charts
- You can easily see how much money you or your opponents have historically in the profit charts.
- Full Chart
Is a profit chart of all active players on the active table. Your profit line is always bold. This chart resets on startup.
- My Chart / Someones Chart
These charts are saved, and can be reset at any time.
Odds Area
- Pot odds (to call)
The immediate odds your getting from the pot, to call.
Pot odds (to raise)
The immediate odds your getting from the pot, to raise.
Hand odds
The chances of you making a hand. (1:1 is 50% chance, 3:1 is 25%)
- Pot odds will turn green when Pot odds are more than Hand odds.
Opponent Modeler
- A view of Holdem Spy's "brain".
- You can use it as an indicator when you adjust the respect parameters in the post flop settings
- Or as a personal reminder.
- Evaluates all possible hand combination in the current state of game.
- Every square in the opponent window represents a possible starting hand of any opponent.
- The color tells you the chance that any opponent would play with the possible starting hand, where red is 0% and green 100%.
Pre-Flop Conclusions Window
- Take in consideration
- #Small bets to call - Number of small bets that you will have to call + those you've already put in the pot.
- Your position - Are you in small blind, big blind, early, middle, late position or on the button?
- Number of opponents
- Aggressive / Passive
The position of the slider affects the advisors pfr% (Pre-flop raise%)
- Tight / Loose
The position of the slider affects the advisors flop%.
As you drag the slider, you will see how strong the starting hands become.
- Auto adjust Tight / Loose
The Tight / Loose slider will automatically adjust to give you
a flop% close to 90% of your opponents flop%.
Post-Flop Conclusions Window
- A higher respect value will result in a more tight game play.
- A higher aggressive value will result in a more aggressive game.
Advanced Statistics Window
- Games
Number of scanned games.
- Profit
The player's profit.
- Profit/Game
The player's average profit.
- Win
Percentage (of all games) that a player has won.
- Showdowns Won
Percentage (of all showdowns) that a player has won.
- WinQuote
A value that shows how good a player is. It is based on 10 x Profit/Game.
- Style
A player's game-style. There are 4 definable game-styles: Loose-Passive,
Loose-Aggressive, Tight-Passive and Tight-Aggressive.
- Flop, Turn, River, Showdown
Percentage (of all games) that the player has seen the specific deal.
- PF(Pre-Flop)-Raise, Flop-Raise, Turn-Raise, River-Raise
Percentage (of all hands as in the specific deal) that the player has raised.
- Flop-Slow play, Turn-Slow play, River-Slow play
Percentage of successful slow-play hands (as in the specific deal) that
the player has achieved.
- Flop-Check Raise, Turn-Check Raise, River-Check Raise
Percentage of successful check-raise hands (as in the specific deal)
that the player has achieved.
